Project 11

The Dr. Peter Allen House is a registered historic building in Kinsman, Ohio. Originally built in the early 1800’s, the property was restored into the Peter Allen Inn and Event Center. No expenses were spared in updating and preserving the handsome Federal-style home. The building is an outstanding example of architecture. The front of the home has Greek Revival and Adamesque columns, swags and tassel motifs. In William Campan’s book “Architecture of the Western Reserve 1800-1900,” the house is praised as not being “surpassed in detail by any other house in the Western Reserve.”

EcoStar’s Majestic Slate was selected in order to maintain the traditional beauty of the building. The 12″ Traditional tiles in Midnight Gray accent the historical appeal of the building, while providing superior durability and performance.
