Our Founders
The Staroba family’s legacy as pioneers in synthetic roofing dates back to the 70s, with the creation of the recycled rubber and plastic formula Starloy, the precursor to the recycled composite blend we use today.
In the decades since, this first-to-market team has remained a family-owned and operated business. With the Staroba family still at the heart of EcoStar, their deeply rooted values of integrity, longevity, and sustainability are central to our identity and crucial to the difference our customers can feel.
