Project 75

The Silver Plume School in Silver Plume, CO was designed by one of Denver’s leading architects, William Quayle. Originally built in 1894, the school was closed in 1959 and converted into the George Rowe Museum. Today the museum features hundreds of artifacts from the town’s mining era, and includes a classroom restored to its original c.1920 appearance.

When this historical building was in need of a new roof, designers looked to EcoStar to provide a durable product that would maintain the school’s original appeal. Aspen Blend Shake was selected in Midnight Gray as the solution. Aspen Blend Shake combines the detail of natural wood with modern performance, long life cycle, and energy efficiency.
